Terms of Service.

Health & Fitness:

By participating in activities at Tribal Pilates AS you agree and acknowledge that you are fully aware that participation in the activity is always at your own risk and you accept all risks. Tribal accepts no liability for any injury you suffer in connection with your presence at the Tribal Pilates studio.

You agree and acknowledge that:

a) You are physically fit to participate in the activity, and are aware that participation in some cases may lead to physical injuries

b) It is your responsibility to consult a medical professional if you have any concerns about your physical condition before commencing training

c) It is your responsibility to notify Tribal in writing about any health issues you have in advance of any training session

d) You understand your physical limitations and are sufficiently self-aware to stop physical activity before you become ill or injured.  

E) You will notify the instructor immediately of any pain and/or major discomfort during the activity. 

Booking:

All Classes are booked and cancelled on the MIndbody App. It is your responsibility to ensure you have booked and paid for the the correct class prior to joining. 

Membership:

Group monthly membership: this entitles the client to book a maximum of one group session per day limited to the maximum group sessions per month depending on the particular contract purchased.  After purchasing the first month of this product, your debit card will be automatically debited each month for the remaining term of 3 months.  After the remaining term, the membership will auto renew and a new membership will commence. You will receive an automated email from Mindbody system prior to the commencement of the new membership providing you with the opportunity to opt out of renewal. If you do not opt out you will automatically be renewed for the full term.

Freezing your membership: In the event of illness or injury, membership and clip cards may be frozen upon presentation of a valid medical certificate. All other membership freezes are available on a discretionary basis subject to a minimum freeze period of 2 weeks and a maximum freeze period of 1 calendar month during a membership term.   Unused membership cards or memberships are not refundable. 

Changes to membership terms and conditions. Tribal Pilates reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this agreement. These changes will be notified by email or in the Mindbody App. You are bound by the new terms and conditions if you do not terminate the agreement within 14 days after the new terms and conditions have been announced.

Cancellation Policy:

Policy for group classes and monthly memberships -. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class starts. All late cancellations or no shows will be charged a cancellation fee. If you do not show up for the class, your clip card will still be charged for one clip. Those who have a monthly membership and do not cancel within the deadline will automatically lose a class from their monthly allocation.

Policy for Private Sessions - all cancellations must be made 12 hours in advance or the full payment fee will be charged. 

Policy for Courses - these will not be subject to the 12 hour cancellation policy. These courses are paid in advance and no refunds are available for the classes you are unable to attend.

Policy for Tribal Pilates -in the event that Tribal cancels your class due to poor attendance or sickness, we will notify you by phone or email.  You will be given the option to transfer to another class at your convenience and subject to availability.

Housekeeping

You are entitled to wear whatever feels comfortable during your session however in the interests of hygiene we require socks to be worn at all times.  Clients are also advised to remove all jewellery before training as we cannot be liable for any loss or damage incurred during a training session.

You are required to wash all mats and other equipment at the end of the session.

Limitation of Liability:

Before commencing any exercise regime you should consult a medical professional. Any advice by our instructors does not constitute medical advice.  It is imperative that you disclose all relevant personal health information to Tribal. This information will be recorded on MindBody. Tribal will not be liable for any omissions or errors made and exclude all liability for any action you may take, or injury you may suffer in or out of the studio. The company accepts no liability for loss or damage to your property or personal belongings. This is unless Tribal Pilates has acted grossly negligent or intentionally.

Tribal Pilates reserves the right to refuse access to any client if we feel the health of the client will be endangered by the training session they have booked. Please ensure the class you have booked is suitable for your fitness level. If there is any doubt please email Tribal or discuss this with one of the teachers.  Any advice provided by our instructors at no time constitutes medical advice.
